At the Continue screen, press Up, Down, Right, Left when there are less than 3 continues remaining.
20 Lives
Pause gameplay and press A, Right + B, Left/Down + R, Y + C + Z.
99 Lives
Pause gameplay and press Up, and hold X + B + Z in that order. Then release them in the same order. Press L, L, and hold Up + Y in that order. Then release them in the same order.
Refill Energy
Pause gameplay and press R, Left, Up, Right. Hold C + B in that order and release them in the same order. Hold R + L in that order and release them in the same order.
