Set time:
Press Down + Select + B at the title screen. You will need to enter a password to change the time, based on your Trainer name, Trainer number, and money. The password can be calculated online here (all versions) or here (North American version). You can also download a Windows 95/98/Me program to do it anytime on your PC.
Tree in Route 36:To get rid of the strange tree (which is really Sudowoodo, a Pokemon) you have to beat the Goldenrod Gym leader and go into the house with a lady that has buckets of water. When you go in she will give you a squirtbottle, squirt it over Sudowoodo and then all you have to do is beat it then there will be no more strange tree.
Red Gyarados:
To get the Red Gyarados go to the Lake of Rage. If you have a Pokemon that has learned Surf , surf in the lake until you see the Red Gyarados. Go next to Gyarados and then it will battle you. Catch Gyarados with Great Balls or Ultra Balls only. (I caught it with a Great Ball) Once you've caught Gyarados go to Mr Pokemons house and he will want to trade the Red Gyarados for Something that Prof. Oak gave him. Don't trade because its not worth it.
In-game reset:
Press Start + Select + A + B during game play to reset.
Skip credits:
Press Start + Select + A + B while the credits are displayed.
Restart game:
Press Up + B + Select at the title screen.
Faster credits display:
Hold B during the credits.
Battle Carrie from Pokemon Stadium 2:
Use the Mystery Gift option in Pokemon Stadium 2 with your Pokemon Gold or Silver. Then go to the Viridian City Trainer house. Go downstairs and talk to the woman. You will then battle the girl from Pokemon Stadium 2, Carrie. She can use one of three teams (consisting of all level 50 Pokemon) chosen at random. The three teams are as follows:
Feraligatr (male)
Tangela (male)
Crobat (male)
Heracross (male)
Gligar (male)
Nidoqueen (male)
Typhlosion (male)
Ledian (male)
Scizor (male)
Porygon2
Electrode (male)
Kingler (male)
Meganium (male)
Stantler (male)
Marowak (male)
Scyther (male)
Xatu (male)
Politoed (male)
Wow to Get Lapras
To get lapras, go to union cave.(on a friday) Go to the 3rd lake.surf to the end and there will be a ladder. Go in it. Surf south west go to the land and go south. battle a person. Surf and lapras will be waiting. It will be level 20. But its only there on Fridays. I hope this cheat helps.

Golden Magicarp
To get a golden magicarp you have to breed a red gyrados with a regular gyridos and you will have a golden magicarp.

Pichu
A quick and easy way to get pichu is to Breed a male and female pikachu or Riachu. All you have to do is take the Pikachu or Riachu to the daycare man and daycare lady in goldenrod city. Go out to where the pokemon are and if it says tht they are intrested in each other than leave them there for a while then come back. If you see the daycare man out side then go talk to him and he will give you a Pichu egg.
